The Promenade & Excursion Park

Excursion Park, at JFK Blvd. and the Promenade, hosts the Harvest Classic, the Halloween parade and Winter Village. From May 15 to Sept. 15, bikes and skates are allowed on the Promenade weekdays 5am–3pm and weekends 5am–noon.

Getting around Sea Isle

Most visitors come in from Garden State Parkway Exit 17 on Sea Isle Blvd. Paid parking runs May 15 to Labor Day and is ParkMobile-only: no meters, no cash.

Know before you go

Beach tags

Needed for ages 12 and up from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day, 10am–5pm, except Wednesdays (free beach days, but not July 4). Prices: $10 daily wristband, $15 weekly, $30 seasonal ($25 if bought by May 15).

Strathmere's beaches

Free through the 2026 season. Starting in 2027, Upper Township will require beach tags in Strathmere for ages 16 and up, Memorial Day weekend through September.

Parking

Paid parking runs May 15 to Labor Day and is ParkMobile-only: no meters or cash. It's $0.25 per 15 minutes plus fees, 9am–11pm (noon–11pm Sundays).

Dogs

Dogs aren't allowed on the beaches, dune paths, parks or the Promenade from May 15 to Sept. 30.

Sea Isle City Beach Patrol

Headquarters at 44th St. and the beach. Swim only at guarded beaches while lifeguards are on duty.
